International student competition CUMULUS GREEN 2020: For a New Circular Economy
CUMULUS GREEN 2020 is a multidisciplinary competition administered by the Cumulus International Association of Universities and Colleges in Art, Design and Media with the purpose of recognize, showcase and promote the best design ideas and projects that embody the principles and aims of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal #12 through the Cumulus educational global network.
Cumulus invites the participation of students from its member institutions to put forward submissions that demonstrate the power of design and creative solutions to help humankind transition to a circular economy, one that ensures sustainable consumption and production patterns, and does “more and better with less.”
There are three categories for submission: 1. Products; 2. Services and 3. Design systems.
The winning submissions will be exhibited in Rome during the 2020 June conference and will be recognized with monetary prizes starting from 2000 euros to the third place.
Be aware that Pre-registration is until June 15th, 2019.
