The third Global Research Forum on Sustainable Production and Consumption theme this is “Sustainable Lifestyles, Livelihoods and the Circular Economy,” hosted by the Institute of Development Studies and the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex.
Join us in Brighton, UK (27-29 June) for our research conference on Sustainable Lifestyles, Livelihoods and the Circular Economy featuring keynote speakers from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, GIZ, the International Resource Panel, and Utrecht and Oregon State Universities, in which SCORAI Europe is a key partner.
The conference convenes researchers, development practitioners, policymakers and representatives from business, government and civil society to explore paths to sustainable production and consumption through the synergies and tensions among the circular economy, sustainable lifestyles and livelihoods, and their implications for the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Keeping with GRF’s emphasis on global perspectives, we explore these questions across different regions and communities, in both industrialized and developing countries.
The Global Research Forum on Sustainable Production and Consumption (GRF) brings together individuals and organizations engaged in research and its applications on the transition towards sustainable production/consumption systems from various regions of the world. It builds on more than twenty years of research tradition on sustainable production and consumption by numerous researchers, institutes, and networks around the world, and on many successful attempts to apply research findings into policy, civil society, and business.
GRF’s third international conference will explore critical links between the circular economy, sustainable lifestyles and livelihoods and the Sustainable Development Goals.
