Kick-off meeting of the KATCH_e project in Lisbon

On January 23rd and 24th, 2017, the coordinator of the consortium, LNEG- Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia, hosted the KATCH_e kick-off meeting on its premises. Beneficiaries from Higher Education, companies and research centres discussed how the project objectives could be achieved and laid the foundations of the project. During the next few months, the project will carry out an analysis of training needs and will establish a stakeholders’ network to support the transfer of knowledge and help secure the activities after the funded period.

The consortium seeks to make KATCH_e an important reference on closing the loop providing innovative and multidisciplinary training materials, curricula and tools. The project will indeed reinforce the competences of students and professionals of the target sectors in the field and will strengthen their relationship, increasing the possibilities of employability and contributing to the innovation and competitiveness of the sectors in the framework of circular economy and facilitating its transition to the business world.
